“Profound is even the smallest act of God!” In the context of all the known universe, where else does a flower bloom? It grows from a seed, blooms, and produces more plants. It’s flourishing is by the goodness of God, the Almighty Creator.

So what can we learn about our own flourishing in life from this small example? God exists and He is good! He made you and I with a purpose that is surely more profound than a flower. Yet we have our own purpose that collides with God’s. How magnificent of a bloom would our lives be if we let the character of God dwell fully in us? This is the life long journey of abundant life on the path given to us by Jesus.

I am passionate about creating art with a purpose from repurposed materials. This is done by giving new life to leftover and discarded items by creatively using them to create an image. The theme of this artwork is to promote a healthy mind and heart from a Christian world view.

My professional experience includes 26 years of Commercial Art experience as a Graphic Designer, Lettering Artist and Illustrator. I also have extensive craftsmanship skills in woodworking and minor remodeling. I am working to be a good steward of this skill set in my own vision of artwork. Creating this art is part of my spiritual journey, an act of study and worship. It is my prayer that as I pass it along to the viewer it will minister to them as well.

Working with repurposed materials naturally reflects Biblical principles as God repurposes us for greater good. He also takes our trials and repurpose them to make us stronger, wiser and more complete. It is with this understanding that I am passionate about creating art with a purpose.
